Yes. Every protector is licensed to carry in California and trained on weapon retention, low-profile carry, and de-escalation. All coverage is conducted within full compliance of California law.
Are you licensed and insured?
Blackvale operates under a California Private Patrol Operator (PPO) license and carries comprehensive general liability and auto insurance. Documentation available on request.
How are protectors selected?
All protectors are former law enforcement or military, selected for professional bearing as much as training. Each completes internal vetting, ongoing firearms qualification, defensive driving, and luxury hospitality protocols.
Will my protector sign an NDA?
Always. Every team member is bound by a baseline NDA. We execute client-supplied NDAs prior to any engagement.
What is your service area?
Los Angeles County and Orange County primarily. We routinely accompany clients to Las Vegas, out-of-state, and internationally. Travel beyond standard area quoted on request.
Can I request a specific protector?
Yes—we encourage it. Many clients reserve the same protector on a recurring basis. Visit the team page, then select by name during reservation.
What is included in the rate?
Everything but gratuity. Protector, vehicle, fuel, tolls, parking, refreshments, and vehicle detailing. No upcharges, no promo codes, no surge pricing.
What if my day runs long?
Additional time billed at $300 per hour, confirmed in person. Same protector and vehicle continue without interruption.
Can I add more protectors?
Absolutely. Additional armed protectors are available at the same daily rate. Each arrives in matching attire with the same standard of training and their own vehicle.
What is the cancellation policy?
48+ hours: full refund. Within 48 hours: half-day rate forfeited. Within 24 hours: full reservation forfeited. Reschedules accommodated at no charge when possible.
