Do Not Sell or Share My Information
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Loading your current preference…
This preference is stored locally in your browser and applies to this device and browser only. To extend it across other devices, repeat the step on each one, or send a verifiable request to service@blackvale.net.
1. Your Right Under California Law
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), gives California residents the right to direct a business not to sell or share their personal information. "Sale" and "share" have specific meanings under the CCPA, including, broadly, disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration, or for cross-context behavioral advertising.
2. What BlackVale Does and Does Not Do
BlackVale Protective Services does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The information you provide to us is used to deliver service, communicate with you about your reservation, comply with our legal obligations, and protect our operatives and clients.
However, this website uses Google Analytics 4 and is wired to use Google Ads. Under the broad CCPA definition, some advertising and analytics signals could be considered "sharing" in certain configurations. By default, advertising signals on this site are denied through Google Consent Mode v2 (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization all set to denied) until the visitor takes an action that constitutes consent. Analytics signals (analytics_storage) are granted by default but are revoked the moment you apply the preference below.
3. Apply Your Preference on This Device
Use the button at the top of this page to apply or undo your Do Not Sell or Share preference. When applied:
analytics_storageis set to denied, so Google Analytics stops collecting page activity on this device and browser.- The advertising consent signals remain denied (they were denied by default).
- A small flag is written to your browser's local storage so the preference persists on this device.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically when your browser sends it.
The preference applies only to the browser and device you are currently using. To extend it across other devices or browsers, repeat this step on each one, or send a verifiable request to BlackVale concierge as described below.
4. Verifiable Request by Email
You may also send a verifiable request that we apply the preference across all BlackVale records associated with you, including any client profile, mailing list, or audience entry. To do so:

Subject: Do Not Sell or Share Request
Include your full name, the email address and phone number on file with us, and a brief statement that you wish to exercise your right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information. We will respond within fifteen (15) business days and confirm in writing once the preference has been applied across our records.
5. Authorized Agent
A California resident may use an authorized agent to submit this request. The agent must provide written permission from you to act on your behalf. We may also require you to verify your own identity directly with us or to confirm that you provided the agent with permission to submit the request. Send authorized agent requests to service@blackvale.net.
6. Global Privacy Control
If your browser or extension sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, BlackVale treats that signal as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing of personal information for the browser sending it. You do not need to take any additional action on this page.
7. No Discrimination
BlackVale does not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercise your right to opt out of sale or sharing.
8. Related Policies
For the full picture of how BlackVale handles personal information, see the Privacy Policy. For payment and dispute handling, see the Terms of Use and the Chargeback Policy.
